This Class of 2018 senior from Great Path Academy at Manchester Community College and I had a chance to do this fun interview at a super cute breakfast spot in Downtown Southington, CT. It was freezing outside but the great conversation and hot cups of coffee made the single digit temperatures just melt away. We had a picture perfect autumn session and the hours went by like minutes, I even have behind the scenes shots from this session which I'll share in another blog post.
Let's get started with the interview! What is something you've done that you are proud of?
My first job working at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT gave me a lot of experience working with children and all kinds of people. I gained confidence helping others and working in an environment different than I'm used to.
Who do you admire?
My mom! A lot of people say I look like her. I know that I got my work ethic and many of my good characteristics from her. She is always growing as a person and I'm proud to be like her.
What do you dream about doing one day?
I'd love to travel the world for an extended period of time, a year perhaps. I will try exotic foods from all over and take memorable once-in-a-lifetime pictures.
What will you miss about High School?
I'll miss my friends, teachers who have supported me these last 4 years. I'll miss the fun times and hold on to the memories.
What is one thing your family instilled in you?
I think our family has a wonderful love for animals. When we were growing up we loved having cats and dogs. I'd like to pursue working with animals as a career.
5 Things you never leave home without:
phone, wallet, mother :), fit bit, earrings
Favorite Movie? The Greatest Showman! I'm obsessed with it right now!
Favorite Season? Spring! I love seeing animals bloom, baby animals just born, warm weather starting to appear.
Favorite Book? The Great Gatsby
Favorite Quote? "Everyday may not be good, but there is something good in every day."
Love that! Thank you for choosing me to be your senior portrait photographer! I loved creating these images for you, every minute was so much fun. It's an honor to be a part of this special time in your life and I can't wait to see what happens after graduation. I think your future is bright! -Denise
