I had the privilege of getting to know this sweet Westminster senior and photograph her at my favorite Connecticut location on a beautiful spring day. I'm so glad she agreed to be interviewed, her dreams are very exciting and her accomplishments and hopes are an inspiration to me and all who know her.

What are your biggest dreams for the future, after high school?

I dream of being an Olympic athlete. That would be awesome! Mainly, my #1 dream would be to play field hockey with the US National Team. I also dream about living on a ranch and competing in rodeos. Someday, I would love to join a Bohemian-style band. Traveling and performing music would be a dream.

What will you miss about Westminster School as you go off to college, away from Connecticut?

I will miss the small community and the close connections I had with my friends, peers and teachers. I will also miss having everything within such a close proximity.

Do you have any favorite quotes?

Right now my favorite quotes are "Sleep when you die." and "Yesterday was history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that's why it's called the present."

What is your favorite TV show?

My favorite TV show right now is American Horror Story. I love how each season has a completely different premise. One season, Roanoke, is so well crafted and filmed. AHS also depicts the struggles of human nature while interacting with the supernatural. I also love Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson and they both star in that show.

What is your favorite season?

My favorite seasons (I can't pick just one) are spring and fall. Spring because the sun is a good kind of warm and everyone is in a good mood. Fall, because I love the color in the trees. Also, field hockey is in the fall.

What is your favorite type of food?

I love Italian food!

Do you have a favorite music genre?

I genuinely love all types of music except aggressive rap. Anything from Chris Stapleton to Metallica,  Fleetwood Mac to Post Malone.

What did you enjoy the most about having your senior portrait photo shoot experience with Denise Gammell Photography?

I loved having multiple outfits to choose from as well as the location she recommended. I was able to really feel comfortable getting my pictures taken. Especially as a person who isn't used to getting their photo taken. I felt very confident and at ease while posing and walking around, which is all attributed to Denise.

Thank you for allowing me to share your interview and a few favorites from your senior portrait session! I'm thrilled to have had the chance to work with you. Your future is bright and shining!
